“One of the correctness of the educational procedure is the happiness of the child” said by Maria Montessori. Montessori is about play and learn. As a teacher Maria Montessori observed, that children never looked specifically at an expensive toy or splendid toys. They played with toys which enhanced their curiosity and things which would help them imitate adults. A few toys were always enough for them. The whole method revolving around the Montessori classroom is everything should be open, placed on reachable shelves for children. The goal is to enhance their independence. Never help a child at a task at which he thinks he can succeed.
A very important aspect of the Montessori Method is that the child must have fun in the process of learning. The Montessori method also emphasizes learning through all of the senses, not just by listening and observing but also touching, tasting, smelling and generally being out in nature. The basic principle of the Montessori educational approach is based on the concept that humans learn better by completing tasks rather than studying theories at an early age. A Montessori classroom needs to be organized by areas of study and after completing the activities and tasks, the children need to leave the place in order. A very important part of this method is promoting good values in children without making them feel like it is an obligation, but rather the correct way of dealing with other people, things and the world that surround them.
There is actually nothing like Montessori toys. All the toys which promote education in a fun way and made with natural material are Montessori toys.
Why should you buy Montessori toys:
- More Durable
Most of them are made in wood, which makes it more long lasting than plastic. Also, you can pass it on intact to family and friends. More usability.
