Hand painted Patch Denim jacket-
What we need:
- Denim jacket
- Black marker
- Acrylic paints
I was making this for my niece who is a teenager. She is all about Unicorns and rainbows, so exactly those motifs I have opted for her jacket. First I gave it an outline with a black marker and then coloured inside the colours I wanted. Be sure of the motif and colours you want. This painting is fairly simple, be careful not to go outside the black outline. Remark the outline once you finish painting.
And I added the unicorn to the back of the Denim jacket. Trace it if you find it difficult to hand draw it.
That is how pretty the Unicorn looks!! I added a few stars too. No need to complete the stars outline so the colour fill can be seen.
A bit of patches never did any harm.
DIY Patch Denim Jacket with pins-
What we need-
- Iron on patches
- Metal pins as per you’re choice
- Fabric glue
- Iron
- Denim jacket
This is for my 16 year old niece who is extremely picky about what she likes. I have used an oversize denim jacket for her and the patches also reflect her personality. She is a minimalist so I haven’t used a whole lot of patches.
First, do a bit of placement. Decide where you want to put what.
Once you know the placements, iron the patches. Stick it with fabric glue for more sturdiness. Best you can sew them for perfect results.
I like my pins altogether.
